Andrea Schnoover
Andrea is a junior studying Software Engineering with a minor in Astrophysics. Aside from managing the project, her work focuses to integrate both acoustic and positioning sensors as part of the AUV navigation system and researching methods of inter-vehicle communication.

Paulina Garibay Jaquez
Paulina is the team co-public relations lead and is a Sophomore in Robotics Engineering at ASU. She had been involved with FIRST FTC competitions since her junior year of high school. Her goal as an engineer is to someday work on electric and/or autonomous cars. Her dream job would be working for Tesla or Cruise Automation.

Samantha Nieto
Samantha is a junior studying Human Systems Engineering. Asides from being the Co-Public Relations officer, she is also a part of the programming team. Samantha is also an officer for ASU's SHPE chapter and is a Fulton Ambassador for the Fulton Schools of Engineering. Her goal as an engineer is to someday work with technology and education.

Kyana Afshari
Kyana is a sophomore at the Arizona State University's Polytechnic campus studying Software Engineering. Through working on Desert WAVE's programming and mechanical team, she hopes to be able to learn troubleshooting as well as skills that will help her in the industry.

Fernanda Duarte
Fernanda Duarte is a sophomore in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering Systems at ASU. It is her first year to be a member of Desert Wave and is a part of the group’s Mechanical sub-team. Fernanda is excited for the new learning opportunities Desert Wave will provide.

Gabriella Buchanan
Gabriella Buchanan is an electrical system’s major with a secondary focus in alternative energy. She is apart of the electrical team for Desert Wave. Aside from Desert WAVE Gabriella is member of WISE (Women in Science and Engineering). Professionally she aspires to help transition the world into an energy efficient environment.

Sam Ehrle is Desert WAVE’s electrical team lead for the 2021 competition year. She is also a member of the software team and competed in the 2019 and 2020 competitions. Sam is a third year student studying Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University. Her career goal is to continue working on autonomous vehicles.

Lindsay Dukes
Lindsay is a junior in Engineering with a concentration in Robotics. She is a part of the Desert WAVE Mechanical, Electrical, and Programming teams. After transferring to ASU with an Associate of Science, she joined the Barrett Honors College. Her goal is to grow and develop her engineering skills by remaining open to new opportunities.

Brooklyn Johnson
Brooklyn is a sophomore studying Mechanical Systems Engineering, and is currently involved in the mechanical and programming subsections of the Desert WAVE team. Apart from this she is involved in the Grand Challenge Scholars Program at ASU and is interested in engineering within the health sector

Isabella Bushroe
Isabella is a second-year student in general engineering. She is Desert WAVE’s Fulton liaison, and her experiences on the team are teaching her about the mechanical aspect of robotics. Outside of the team, she is involved with ASU as a writing tutor for Barrett Honors College.

Kamille Green
Kamille Green is a Junior Robotic Engineering Student at Arizona State University. Apart from Desert WAVE, she mentors Degrees of Freedom which is a FIRST Robotics Competition team based out of Chandler, Arizona. She aspires professionally to aid in the expansion of our understanding of space.

Richa Kale
Richa is a sophomore in Robotics Engineering and excited to be a budding member of the Desert WAVE team. She has been involved with the FIRST Robotics competitions during her high school years. She has also been a Youth Coach for FIRST Lego League mentoring elementary and middle school students.

Bridget Koehl
Bridget Koehl is a sophomore studying Mechanical Systems Engineering at ASU and she is a member of Barrett Honors College. She had almost no previous engineering experience before joining Desert WAVE, but she learned a lot as part of the team last year and is now passionate about encouraging young women to pursue careers in STEM.

Madelyn Monar
Maddie is a third year student in the robotics engineering program at Arizona State University. She is specializing in the electrical aspect of robotics engineering and is pursuing a secondary focus in manufacturing engineering. Besides DesertWAVE, she is also a member of the Society of Women Engineers and Adventurers Wanted at ASU.

Laura Roty
Laura is a Barrett Honors freshman studying Human Systems Engineering hoping to gain some background in mechanical or electrical engineering. Before coming to ASU, she never had any exposure to engineering but she hopes to expand her technical skills and become well-versed in many aspects of the engineering field.

Crystal Torres
Crystal Torres is a sophomore in Mechanical Engineering. She has experience with CAD, machinery and 3D printing. She currently works for a French company in Tempe making below the knee prosthetics for amputees all over the world. Ultimately, she sees herself developing and designing medical devices.
