Andrea is a junior studying Software Engineering with a minor in Astrophysics. Aside from managing the project, her work focuses to integrate both acoustic and positioning sensors as part of the AUV navigation system and researching methods of inter-vehicle communication. 

Outside of this project, Andrea is a research aid for the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera Team (LROC) and also mentors a high school FIRST robotics team with the Si Se Puede Foundation.

In the future, Andrea aims to continue research on autonomous systems within the aerospace industry and to develop instrumentation systems for space exploration.
